Why “Authentic Roads”?
The idea comes from a passion for vintage cars and the desire to share this pleasurable hobby. Always faster, always further, when there are so many wonders to discover if we just slow down and take our time. For the last ten years with a few Friends who own vintage cars, we have roved about many regions on roads away from noise and daily drudge.
There are so many sumptuous sceneries and wonders to behold in France and in our Italian neighbours’ country…
We wanted to share these moments of intense happiness with other friends who do not own a vintage car.
Each time we had the possibility to take one of them along, we could sense the way he marvelled at it all.
The comments were similar :
“It’s amazing to see how people readily come to us !”
“What a pleasure to behold such varied scenery from behind this small windscreen !”
“How cute this long bonnet is and those two headlights look like frogs’eyes !”
“It’s amazing how different it feels inside such cars !”
